Introduction to Mountaineering

Service Description

Most mountain schools in India have a month long curriculum, which while highly recommended is unfortunately too long. For those who intend to explore the himalayas, learn the ropes in the process and climb a high mountain during the course of events; all in a short space of about two weeks, my "Introduction to Mountaineering" programme comes highly recommended. Participants will learn rope work, rock, snow and ice skills, get acquainted with and use mountaineering equipment and apparel, acquire a wealth of knowledge and practical skills and also climb a high peak (possibly 6000+) towards the end of the course, all in two weeks or less.
