Contact us for exhaustive information about the Ascent. Nun is one of the highest Himalayan peaks on the Indian side of the Line of Control in the Gon Kargil area. The Peak is located near the Suru valley, Kargil district about 250 km east of Srinagar, the head quarters of Kashmir. Itinerary (my tours are highly customisable; to the extent of trying alternate routes and hence the itinerary is very dynamic in nature) Day 01: Arrive at Leh (3500m). Rest and Acclimatize Day 02: Explore around Leh. Local Visits/ Hikes etc Days 3 - 7 We could drive to the road head and acclimate on the mountain or we could acclimate elsewhere. My tours are very flexible. Open to inputs, but the expedition leader has the final say. (in the interest of overall safety and dispensation of efficient service quality) Day 08: Drive Leh to Kargil (2800m) 6-7hrs Day 09: Drive Kargil-Tangol (3-4hrs) Day 10: Sort out equipment and trek to Nun Base camp Day 11: Rest day at Base Camp Day 12 - Day 21: Climbing Period - We set up 3 camps (C1-5500m, C2-6100m & C3-6400m) Day 22: Trek Base Camp to Tangol Day 23: Drive Tangol to Leh Day 24: Free day in Leh, could be used as an extra day on the mountain Day 25: Fly Delhi-Leh (3500m);
