Ice Climbing Vacation

Service Description

Ice Climbing in the exotic mountains of Ladakh, in a safe secure environment. At the end of the trip, you'll be familiar with ice climbing equipment, ice climbing techniques and will have ascended a few different ice falls.  Inclusions: 1) Accomodations in a home stay with heating. (Shared accomodation); (or tented accomodation triple sharing). Breakfast and Dinner included. Option to stay in an upscale hotel. 2) Instructions will be imparted by experienced ice climbers, adept at rigging Climbing lines with vast  experience on glacial ice and waterfall ice (with a decade plus experience in Himalayan expedition climbing) 3) Climbing equipment rentals (boots, crampons, axes) 4) Airport transfers,  5) Transfers to the climbing site and back. 6) Communal equipment such as ropes, screws, and other sorts of anchors.  7) We could also try day hikes and exploratory tours into different valleys on one or more days for a change from ice climbing if the experience is overwhelming. Note: In case of adverse weather, or unfavorable climbing conditions we will improvise and try alternative activities. Day hikes, frozen river treks etc are a great way to commune with nature.  Prices for this weeklong engagement! 60k for shared accomodations 80k for single supplement  Or 80k on twin sharing basis in an upscale hotel (4 or 5*) with central heating.  1L for single supplement in a 4 or 5* hotel.
